Vehicle transport
How long does it take to move a car within India?
It depends on distance and route. Most domestic vehicle movements take seven to fourteen days door to door, with trunk routes between metros at the shorter end. Your quote carries a specific estimated delivery date rather than a range.
Can I leave personal belongings in the car?
No. Carriers are not insured for loose items, and loaded vehicles can be stopped and checked in transit. Please empty the car before pickup and keep the fuel tank at roughly a quarter. If those items need moving too, we can add them as a separate household consignment.
Open or enclosed carrier — which should I choose?
Open carriers are the standard choice and suit almost every daily-driven car. Choose enclosed transport for vintage, luxury, low-clearance or freshly painted vehicles, where protection from dust, rain and road debris matters more than cost. Enclosed transport typically adds 30 to 40 percent to the rate.
What types of vehicles can you move?
Cars, SUVs, motorcycles, scooters and light commercial vehicles as standard. We also handle vintage cars, imported vehicles and non-running vehicles, though those need a winch-equipped carrier and some advance notice.
Do I need to be present at pickup and delivery?
Someone must be, to sign the condition report at both ends. It does not have to be you — nominate anyone you trust and give us their name and number in advance. The report is what protects you if a dispute arises later.
Insurance and damage
Is my vehicle insured during transit?
Yes. Declared-value transit insurance is arranged at booking and shown as a separate line on your quote. Your existing motor policy generally does not cover a vehicle while it is on a carrier, so this is not duplicate cover. If a claim is needed, we file and follow it up on your behalf.
What happens if something is damaged?
Note it on the delivery record before you sign, and photograph it at the time. That single step is the difference between a straightforward claim and a long argument. Email the record and photographs to us the same day and you will get a named handler within one working day.
Relocation
Do you survey before quoting a house move?
Yes, in person locally or over video for smaller moves. A quote given over the phone without a survey is a guess, and the gap usually appears as an extra charge on loading day. The survey is free and takes about half an hour.
Can you store our things between move-out and move-in?
Yes. Wherever possible your goods stay in the same sealed container they were loaded into, which means they are handled twice rather than four times. Storage is billed monthly with no commitment beyond the first month.
How far in advance should we book an office move?
Three to four weeks for anything over about twenty desks, mostly so we can walk the site, agree a labelling scheme with your IT lead and book the right weekend. Smaller offices can often be done at a week's notice.
Booking and payment
How do I pay, and when?
An advance at booking, with the balance due on delivery before unloading. We accept bank transfer, UPI and card. A GST invoice is issued for every consignment.
Will the price change after I have booked?
Not for anything we could reasonably have known at quoting. Loading, unloading, tolls, state permits and octroi are all inside the number you are given. If a genuinely unforeseeable cost arises mid-transit, we tell you before we incur it, not on the final invoice.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Reschedule freely up to 48 hours before pickup. Inside that window a carrier slot has usually been committed, so a charge may apply. Cancellations before the carrier is dispatched are refunded less any survey or packing work already done.
Do you offer credit terms for regular business?
Yes, for contracted lanes and regular volume, subject to the usual checks. Speak to key accounts through the contact page rather than the booking desk.
In transit
How will I know where my consignment is?
Your coordinator calls you at each scheduled checkpoint, and you have their direct number for anything in between. You should not have to ask for an update, and you should never be told to call back later.
The delivery date has slipped. What now?
Your coordinator should have contacted you before it slipped. If not, call and ask for the operations desk rather than the booking desk — they can reach the carrier directly and give you a revised date rather than a reassurance.
Still unsure about something?
Ask before you book. It is a short call and it usually saves money.
